The NHS does not cover some services under its contract and therefore we offer a range of private non-NHS services that will attract a private charge. Some of these services include:
- Private sick notes (sick notes required for less than 7 continuous days off work)
- Insurance forms
- Holiday cancellation forms
- Medical reports
- Fitness to travel certificates
- Private prescriptions
- Bus passes
- Some vaccinations services – notably vaccines for foreign travel.
Please download our fees for non-NHS Work:
Our fees for these services are in line with BMA approved national guidelines. It is important to understand that many GPs are not employed by the NHS; they are self-employed and they have to cover their costs – staff, buildings, heating, lighting, etc. – in the same way as any small business.
Please note that urgent letters will take a minimum of 72 hours to complete and routine letters can take up to 2 weeks to complete.
