GP Average Earnings

From 1 April 2015, it is a contractual requirement for practices to publish on their website by the end of the financial year (i.e. 31st March), the average earnings for all GPs in their practice relating to the previous financial year (Apr- Mar).  This means the earnings of doctors engaged in the practice are publicised and the required disclosure is shown below before tax, national insurance and pension and net of practice expenses:

2022-23

The average pay for GPs working at the surgery in the last financial year before tax and National Insurance was £50,297.This is for 9 part time GPs and 1 locum GPs who worked in the practice for more than 6 months.
